Although our curriculum is underpinned by the Primary National Curriculum, we also use the resources provided by Curriculum Maestro to enrich our teaching.

Each class develops a termly Driver Project based on a History or Geography topic, and then the Foundation Subjects are appropriately linked in enabling a cross-curricular approach to learning. The learning is taught discretely and each child has a specific subject learning book in the Foundation Subjects which follows them throughout their school learning journey. As we have mixed-age classes, our projects are planned on a two-year rolling programme.

We continuously assess the positive impact that our curriculum has on the learning of our children through pupil-led discussions, weekly quizzes and regular assessments.
